Karin is the absolute best, and so is Tanika! Both ladies worked on my hair on March 2 when I got loc extensions for the first time (picture below). It took 13 hours, and they were both professional all the way through the entire process. I knew they were tired and they worked very hard.A month and some days later, on April 9, I got my first retwist by Karin, and I was more than pleased. She is very educated, professional, and friendly. The shop itself is very clean and neat. I felt very comfortable there and look forward returning for my next retwist. I highly recommend this salon highly to anyone who has locs or wants them.

There are truly the best, very professional. Y’all don’t need to try anywhere else. Very accommodating clean fast safe services. Very talented and styles, colors deep head massage. Shampoo karin, Arron, McKenzie are the best stylists in Orlando, winter park location.

Service is amazing with the price to match. I love the the deep cleansing. Most locations dont offer a wash. Highly recommended. Stylist are friendly and make you feel like one of the homies. Needless to say their hands are gifted!!! 🥰

I just had my appointment today and I can only say wow! Great environment with great vibes. I love how my stylist, Tanika, walked me through every step she was doing to make me feel relaxed and comfortable as a first time client. I felt that she was super knowledgeable about my locs and what my hair needed, and it made me feel very comfortable as I knew I was in great hands! Love my style and am beyond happy with the service. My locs look great after not getting a retwist and conditioning it for so long. I just moved to Florida from Georgia, and I will most certainly be back!

Started my loc journey Aug 22 at a different shop and hated the experience. Since coming to Loc Luster I have grown to love my locs and the journey they take you on. Aaron has been helping maintain my mane and he is the best hands down. So educational on how I can care for my locs between visits and makes my time in his chair enjoyable. The atmosphere and quality are too tier.

I had two-strand twists done on 06/23/2022. The shop was nice and clean. All three stylists in the shop were personable and accommodating. Star was the stylist who did my hair. From the shampoo/conditioning to the styling, she was gentle and caring. Karin, the owner, was very knowledgeable and professional. Karin patiently discussed coloring and offered information about my particular situation/work/lifestyle. I plan on returning when the time for restyling. I also fully intend on bringing my mother here next time she is in town visiting. I highly recommend it to anyone with natural hair or locs.

Amazing hair salong id recommend if you want your hair retwisted FAST and EFFICIENTLY. Kenzie works fast and is softer when working with hair compared to all my other locticians she by far does it the best with minimal pain (i am very tender headed)

First time here yesterday and they did not disappoint!Clean, organized environment. Friendly stylists. I was done with my long 2 strand twists in under 3 hrs and it looks gorgeous. Aaron did an excellent job! It was certainly worth the drive for me.

This was my first time going to Loc Luster and I am so glad that I did. I found them from a strangers recommendation. I got a detox and wash and retwist. The customer service was A+. Although it was my first time, they treated me like an old friend while still being professional. While doing my hair, they gave tips on how to better maintain it in between salon visits.They started on time and I was done in under four hours. Ill definitely be going back.

Karin is such a gem. It was really hard to find a loctician to stick with as I am very picky on who touches my hair and after going through three stylists I found the best one. I have been her client since August 2016 and I have no reason to go anywhere else. She is very detailed and takes her time to not only take care of your hair, but to know your hair. She is super creative with her styles where I am to the point I dont have a style in mind, I trust her that much. My hair has flourished since being with her and I wouldnt have it any other way. I have been having my hair done for about 3 years now by Karin, and I will not allow anyone else to touch my locs. She is amazing from the styles, to the coloring. A very welcoming homey environment with amazing professionalism. She knows her stuff about locs and natural hair, but she is also honest enough to say she doesn’t know it all. BUT SHE WILL find out.
