Maher is THE BEST! He did such an amazing job with my hair so my I convinced my husband to schedule with him. He was very reluctant as he has had one bad haircut after another, but FINALLY we have found someone who knows what theyre doing! Maher is professional and knowledgeable. The salon is pleasant, clean and calm. And Maya is the sweetest! She does such a nice job with the wash. She is gentle, thorough and provides an outstandingly warm welcome. I’ve been coming to Grandeur Hair Design for the past year, and they never disappoint! Recently, I got highlights, coloring, a haircut, and a blow-dry, and everything turned out perfect. I had my first visit to a hair salon since moving to Wesley Chapel, and I was lucky to have my haircut done by Mr. Maher. He is truly a professional hairstylist! I wasn’t sure what style would suit me best, but he knew exactly what to do and cut my hair perfectly to complement my head shape.My appointment was at 9 AM, and when I arrived, his assistant, Maya, was already there waiting for me. She is such a warm and welcoming person, so kind and open-hearted. The whole experience was amazing, and I’ll definitely be coming back as a regular customer.

Amazing, he definitely went above and beyond! I called in and he was extremely busy and said he didnt have time today, I explained I had family coming to town and needed my hair done cuz we are new in the area and had no idea where to go. He had a lot of great reviews so I gave it a chance and asked when I could possibly get in, he said just a minute and asked how soon I could be there, I gave him my address and he looked it up and said if you can get here in 30 minutes he would squeeze me in!! Amazing!! I so appreciated it and it was a nice clean, fun salon. And he definitely did a great job! He even sent out a bottle of water to my husband and dog that were waiting in the truck for me! Super late with this review (Went on May 31) but I wanted to make sure I share my experience. I have always had long and thick hair and Ive never walked out of a hair salon feeling happy. I walked into my appointment with my three girls and from the second I walked in I felt welcomed! Shelby and Maher were very nice and they made me feel comfortable having my girls at the salon. As a parent, thats a big deal!I came in with long, highlighted hair and I was looking to change to my natural hair color so that It would be easier to maintain. I was completely blown away with how amazing my hair turned out! It felt and looked healthier than its ever looked and Maher managed to keep my long length! My stylist Madelyn is exceptionally passionate about what she does. I went in for a trim and bangs the other day... I’ve been trying to bring my curls back to life and she gave me a few tips on how to achieve that. Super friendly staff... can’t remember her coworkers name (long curly hair girl) she was also super nice and knowledgeable.The shampoo session was like a spa experience. She didn’t rush to wash my hair. She took her time, gave me a little scalp massage. I really appreciate when someone goes above and beyond to make the customer feel good and like they’re getting every pennies worth.I met the owner on the way out and he was also very nice and made sure to ask if I was happy with their service... clearly I really enjoyed this salon experience. I met with Sally and I explained how I liked my hair and what my previous stylist had been doing. She listened and made great suggestions. My hair came out great, coloring was perfect. I moved here from LA California 4 months ago and considered myself so lucky to have found Maher on my first haircut experience out here having my haircut buy a real professional on the first try is amazing. I was so worried to be able to fine someone to cut my difficult thin straight hair and get it right. Maher asked me how I wanted it cut? I said a California style guy cut, showed him an old haircut picture and as fast as Edward Scissorhands snipping away with his 2 hands going 100 miles per hour in just a couple minutes he did exactly better then I could have ever expected!!!! Grandeur Salon in one of a kind! Maher is my stylist, and the only stylist that understands what I want. Ive experienced a lot of bad experiences with hair stylist, and I dont trust anyone working on my hair. The first time I cut my hair at Grandeur by Maher, it was so healthy, Layered very evenly, and it didnt take long at all! Everyone is very efficient and super nice! Always a great experience with Maher and his wonderful staff. Friendly from the moment you arrive to be greeted with the smiles, to the hug goodbye, you will not be disappointed. I have lived in the big city where good stylists are plentiful but alas, had to endure countless disappointments here in Tampa before finding this salon. I had a cut and a balayage color treatment! I have been going to Grandeur Hair Salon since it first opened in 2010. Maher, the owner, is my hair stylist and he is absolutely AMAZING!! He is so artistic and skillful...I can show him a picture or briefly describe what style I want and hell cut and style my hair to perfection in about 30 minutes! Its like watching a master artist effortlessly making his masterpiece! I seriously walk out of his salon looking and feeling like a super model EVERY single time! He has incredible talent! Additionally, his salon is always in immaculate condition (even after nearly 10 years!)...clean, modern, organized and even with a massage chair to relax in while you get a shampoo and head massage! Lastly, Shelby from the front desk is such a joy! She always genuinely and enthusiastically answers the phone or greets you and welcomes you to the salon. She can instantly brighten anyones day with her warm, cheerful, and caring voice and smile. Its an overall wonderful experience every time. Its a 30-45 minute drive for me but it is so worth the drive! Absolutely and highly recommend!!

I followed Sally to Grandeur from another salon. I originally went to Sally to get some ideas on how to deal with the grey in my fast growing hair. She suggested highlights and not only do I love how my hair looks but I am able to go much longer between coloring than I could when I was doing it myself. Sally always makes my hair look beautiful. Great place! I had an appointment with Vicki, but she was not there and the owner ended up cutting and styling my hair. He listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. Not only did he do that, but he did it efficiently. I was in and out in less than an hour for a shampoo, cut and style that included a blow out. I didnt feel like the owner rushed through the cut and style at all. I just think hes that good. The other stylist that was there at the same time, washed my hair and same thing with her - very nice and efficient but didnt rush the process. The salon is nicely decorated and clean and smelled great. Neither stylist tried to push products on me either which I appreciate. Ill definitely be back!

Great service! I came in with waist-long hair which I wanted to donate. Sally measured and cut my pony tail. Then I showed her a picture of what I wanted. The haircut looked really cute but after a few days when I tried to style it myself I noticed it was uneven and it just didnt look right. I called and came back to show Sally. She was super nice, listened to my concerns, looked at pictures on my phone, and then fixed my hair to make the haircut I wanted work with my hair. She was super patient and nice and took her time. The result was the exact haircut I wanted. It looks great and I couldnt be more pleased! I love it. Im glad I went back after the first try because it gave Sally and I an opportunity to get to know my hair and what works best for it now that its short! I am ver happy with Sally and would definitely recommend her!

The blow-dry was so beautiful that I actually put off rewashing my hair as long as possible because it continued to look gorgeous even after sleeping on it for 2 nights! The salon had a unique style and I always feel welcomed.Vicki has been working with me to repair my hair after a tramatizing chemical hair cut I endured with another salon. She has done a great job! I can easily say that this is one of the best salons I have ever been too! The atmosphere is amazing with a modern look but calming at the same time. Youll die when you sit in the chairs to get your hair washed. Can you say comfy?! Not to mention that Maher is a hair genius!! Went in today with a dark brown ombré, and left with a beautiful burgundy for fall! Between Maher or Barbara, your hair will look FABULOUS! There prices are also very reasonable. Just left this salon. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and also the decor; very relaxing environment. The staff is very friendly and are sure to offer their clients coffee, water and tea. My colorist/stylist today was Sally Lingg. She was very personable and I could tell she cares about her clients and has been in the styling business for a long time, she definitely knows her stuff! Ms. Sally did a great job on my cut and was able to remove all of the purple from my hair. She made my hair look healthier! The only thing I was not satisfied with is the color. Though the color is nice, it wasnt what I had in mind. I showed a picture that had reds, brown and gold/blonde in it and ended up with brown and blonde. She did ask me how I planned to style my hair, first time I have ever been asked, and she adjusted the pattern for the way I style my hair. I wish it had the red in it, I am not happy with the overall color; and for the price, I was disappointed with the color because it wasnt what I wanted. However, Ms. Sally did a great job washing my hair and also styling it. She is a great stylist/colorist, I would recommend her to others.

I have dry, frizzy, unruly, 3B curly spiral hair. Ive been to tons of places that have underestimated how thick my hair is.About a month ago I decided on Grandeur because of their reviews. I explained my concerns and warned them that it takes an average of 2 hours just to straighten my shoulder length hair (not including washing, etc). They told me Vickie would be helping me. I was nervous because I feel those who are not ethnic wont understand how difficult it is to try to tame my hair.Vickie was more on the safe side, which is fine because I wouldnt want them to cut too much hair off and not be able to fix it. She told me to wait and see how I liked it. If I needed her to thin and cut off more to just go back in a few days no charge.In 2 hours after leaving the salon I called back. My hair decided to prove its point in being underestimated. It poofed up so much and the were a few strands that were much longer than the rest of my hair. I was disappointed and felt I now looked like a boy.I went back a few days later and Vickie quickly fixed it! I have never been happier in my whole life over a haircut. I will only go back to Vickie from now on. Highly recommend going here.
