    I walked in blind. Havenā€™t had a real haircut in almost three years. Was greeted by a stylist Jeanette and made appointment that had to be ASAP due to a wedding I am going out of town for on Friday. She came in on her only day off to accommodate my schedule. Honestly it was an amazing experience! I absolutely love my hair. It is so healthy and exactly what I asked her to do. If I could rate a ten star I would! Thank you so much Jeanette

    I brought my teen daughter to The Confidence Factory for color and cut and we are so happy that we found this salon. Very professional! We appreciated Lynnā€™s opinions and direction on color and style and for giving us to Lei @leislocks at The Confidence Factory for the hair cut.     Love this salon! Everyone makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. The atmosphere is relaxed, cozy and friendly. My hairstylist, Ashleigh, is the absolute best! She is great at blonding and brining out the beautiful tones in all kinds of hair. I always leave feeling like a million bucks... without having to spend it.

    I saw Jeanette Mussa based on a friends recommendation and shes amazing! She spent 3 hours highlighting my hair, cutting it better than I expected, then styling it to.perfection. On top of that, her pricing is VERY reasonable and her schedule flexible. You wont regret it!

    Kai is MAGICAL! I got my hair severely botched at another place. Iā€™m talking I wanted blonde and ended up with blue/grey/black blotchy hair. I went in and Kai did a fabulous job saving my hair and taking her time with me. She got all the color out so I didnā€™t have to bleach my hair again and used gentle products so that my scalp and hair wasnā€™t compromised more. All the people there are very nice and friendly. I walked out very happy is beautiful hair that lightened up to same as my natural blonde. Go here if you want your hair done right they know what theyā€™re doing!

    I went in yesterday for a color fix, was elsewhere prior and panicked walking around with bleached hair! I called in and spoke to Lynn who is the Owner and so sweet who had the stylist Ashley do my hair and I left with happy tears. I loved everything about it from the service, atmosphere and its cleanliness. My new hairstylist is the bomb and I have made a friend and found a home and will definitely tell friends and family. Thank you!!!!

    I got the best haircut ever from Lei. Not only is she exceptionally knowledgeable and experienced, she literally gave me exactly what I wanted. Iā€™ve literally never loved my hair more than when I went to her!! I can also can update on the fact that the haircut has grown out amazingly. If youā€™re looking for a curly hairstylist in Sarasota, Lei is your girl!Every stylist here is super talented and sweet!     Jeanette Mussa did a fabulous job on my hair!! Love it!! And I am picky. She is highly professional, and was able to schedule me within 2 weeks which was important because I have an upcoming wedding. She has reasonable prices, and was a pleasure to chat with while sitting in the chair. It has been difficult finding a stylist since I move here a few years ago and I was very pleasantly surprised by her flexibility and cheery disposition. I highly recommend her at The Confidence Factory in Sarasota, FL. She is currently taking new clients.

    I have had vivid hair colors for seven years, going to several stylists in Tampa (where I live) but always felt unfilled in what I received. Until Lynn, when I just decided to drive down south for her art work. I am beyond ecstatic with my mermane and my hair puts a smile on my face on those cloudy days.     I wanted to give a review of my experience with Lynn Ouellette at the Confidence Factory. I went in wanting my faded copper hair refreshed and revamped to be a very vivid bright cherry red. She definitely delivered and my hair feels super soft and healthy, in addition to being super vibrant. If youre looking for a new hair stylist for vivids, shes definitely amazing!

    I worked with Lei and she was perfect! She walked through every step with me and checked to make sure I was okay! I hadnā€™t cut my hair in so long! My hair is now healthy and super curly and bouncy now! Iā€™m glad we have somebody in this area that knows what theyā€™re doing with curly hair! Very much so recommend!

    I am so beyond blessed & thankful for finding Lynn when I did, just before almost sabotaging my own hair trying to color correct.She immediately responded to my message on IG and a consultation was scheduled in the following days.     Lei aka Leis Locks is an AMAZING hair stylist. she is the ONLY person i let touch my hair and FOR YEARS NOW!! even when she was in school getting her license she was the only one i let give me trims. I decided for the first time to go bleach/dye my hair when she recommended i go half blonde underneath, so i let her and it turned out PERFECT!!!!!!!!! ive never gotten so many compliments on my hair in my life, after a couple of months i went fully blonde *photos attached* and that was done so beautifully i again got so many compliments. after w couple months i wanted to go back to the brown ontop and she was able to do that so perfect as well *pic attached with wavy hair* there isnt a time where i dont receive a compliment on my hair when i meet somebody. Lei cares about the health of my hair as well she will tell me when i NEED to get a trim and why i should in order to keep my hair healthy aswell as treatments she recommends if my hair gets dry. i have brought her a couple of customers since my first official appointment with her and i will continue to bring more because she is the best stylest i have ever met in my life. The photos on her instagram @leislocks are phenomenal i recommend checking that out she does amazing blonde aswell as coloring with all kinds of hair types.

    Ashleys the only person that has ever colored my hair. This was a result of seeing her work on a former co workers mom. It was a total transformation that definitely made me not recognize her at first. She stood their after speaking until I realized who she was.Ashleys work definitely gives confidence and makes us almost unrecognizable to people that know us.     I have been seeing Lynn for years. Her chair is the only chair Ive ever felt completely comfortable in. From my very first consultation I was very impressed with not only her knowledge, but also her honesty and integrity. I wanted to color my hair a certain color and she very clearly told me it wouldnt look good due to my skin tone... And she was right. Im so glad she recommended a different color combination that was much better suited to me and in the long run, I am much happier with it than with what I originally wanted!! (She had the foresight to save me from what I didnt know- what a blessing!)Watching her work on my hair is always a treat because she is very clearly in her element. She is extremely knowledgeable in the realm of coloring hairand hair in general and is very patient in answering my many questions and explaining the process as we go along.The salon vibe is very relaxed and comfortable, which I appreciate very much, considering hair coloring usually takes hours!!She never tries to sell me products (which was something that I was always uncomfortable with going to various salons throughout the years) but will make recommendations if I ask for her opinion.Lynn is a gem and I am so grateful to have found her!!! I used to go years between hair cuts because I simply wasnt comfortable with anyone cutting my hair, now I go several times a year because I know that Im in good hands, without a doubt.

    Lei and Lynn are just all around amazing! You wonā€™t find a better salon to meet your every expectation than this one. Theyā€™re so professional and extremely talented. You can tell they love what they do and are so very passionate about making sure youā€™re taken care of from start to finish. šŸ’—šŸ’—My husband and I just moved here from Germany and finding a salon was number one on my list. My hair was in dire need of a cut and color. I was a previous client of Fresh Salon downtown; however, after a few visits and not seeing the results promised after spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars (so expensive in Sarasota, thatā€™s mind blowing), I started looking elsewhere. I walked into the salon to check the place out and Lei was so helpful in answering all of my questions and concerns. I gave her some past history and we connected immediately - she understood my past experience and reassured me that Iā€™d be taken care of at their salon.She kept her promise!I couldnā€™t be happier with the results and will continue going back to The Confidence Factory. Did I also mention I was there on my lunch break from work and they fed me? Talk about going above and beyond for your customers.     Both my daughter, and I went to The Confidence Factory to get our hair cut and colored. We both had our hair done by Lei. She is super sweet, and very personable. She thoroughly explained the process we would both need to achieve the look we wanted. She even made me a color conditioner to help maintain the perfect purple color I wanted. Lei is very knowledgeable about hair, makes you feel very comfortable, and works really hard to ensure that you are happy with the end result. I relocated here a year ago- with having no clientele and no booth renting experience.Lynn made my first booth renting experience more than enjoyable- with plenty of continued support and guidance throughout my time there.The atmosphere is clean, spacious, calm, laidback, relaxing & still fun.The stylists are hardworking and extremely respectful of others belongings, and helping eachother, which is huge in my eyes.Thereā€™s so much talent within this salon and itā€™s truly an amazing place to start your journey, find your hair home, passing through, whatever the case may be. You can learn so much here and grow as big or as contained as you like.Like I said- this was my first booth renting salon Iā€™ve worked in and I couldnt be happier that I found them.     I went to Sarah after trying to correct color myself..big mistake! Sarah talked with me at length, and we came up with a plan to get me back on track. She totally exceeded my expectations!!     Awesome Salon! Relocated from NY and my hair had to adjust to the humidity. I tried 2 places for highlights, color and styling but I looked like a brassy mess. I am thrilled to have found Confidence! The stylist and colorist asked what I was looking for and also gave me some great feedback and ideas. I was thrilled with how my hair cut and color came out. Salon is roomy, comfortable and has a delish pizza place next door. Confidence is now my hair home!

    I had such a great experience at The Confidence Factory. The salon was so clean and well organized. All of the staff I encountered were super friendly. Danielle was phenomenal. We collaborated every step of the way from initial consultation by text until the actual appointment. We were able to achieve every goal I had for my first vivid color. Not only did I leave with the color I had dreamed of but my hair was in better shape than when I walked in. I have anxiety plus PTSD so appointments like this are difficult for me. She was so understanding and non-judgmental. I cant recommend her enough.

Ive worked with several stylist here and they are extremely knowledgeable and talented. The location is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Ive been coming here for several years and this will always be my go to. I am a vivids client and Im always overly impressed by the talent!!
