I definitely recommend Kimmie! I have been to 3 other hairstylist since I moved to Sarasota and Kimmie is the only one who was able to get the brass out of my hair! She spent hours with me and got the job done in one sitting, instead of multiple appointments the others said I required. Shes not only a talented colorist but just a genuine, beautiful person who empowers other women. Her prices are also very affordable compared to so many other salons in this area. Kimmie is an amazing color artist. Ive been a long time client of hers and she never disappoints! Since I always like change with my hair we always have a short consult before the transformation starts. She always knows the right formula to use to get the best result. Today I went from my hair color being red to blonde just in one session! She is truly fascinating to watch as well as her expertise shines through her hands that create such magic. I highly recommend this salon with her and any of her phenomenal staff! They all are exceptional color artists!

I highly recommend KimmieB salon! Evelina did Amazing work on my hair! She had a major challenge trying to to put highlights in hair that was two different tones one of them being a faded red and rocked it! She was very meticulous and wanted to make sure everything was perfect!! She nailed it!! I even had the pleasure of seeing what a great mentor the owner is with her stylists! For someone new to the area, Evelina promptly reached out to me (I found her through a FB Group) and invited me to try her out. It can be scary finding a new hair stylist, but she put me to ease as soon as I sat down in her chair. I have short hair and was blond and she encouraged me to embrace my brown roots for a more natural and age appropriate look. Ive loved what shes done and cant wait to go back. I called last minute to book an appointment as a new client and I contacted Evelina Tumasian. I had been watching her posts on social media and she did Not disappoint! I had newly gone from platinum blonde back to an auburn color but my hair was dry and I needed an educated stylist that could help me restore my hair to good health and keep the red I wanted. She killed it!!! I cut off about 4 inches, but my hair is a gorgeous auburn and healthier than it has been in years. The salon is gorgeous, staff is kind, loving and cares about the clients beyond the chair. ❤️ I’m so happy I changed salons… it’s scary sometimes to make that change but if you need a solid place with educated stylists, Kimmie and Evelina are master colorists!

Words escape me, but I will try...I visited Kimmie on a Florida afternoon, with a handful of Hairspiration, and a determination to make a change. She walked me through the process and we made an appointment. I went into this a little nervous, since I had never had a vibrant color before, but Kimmie made sure to explain the whole process, and work with me for what would be best color, cut and even budget wise.It did NOT feel like an hours long process. It felt exactly like when I was a dumb teenager sitting at my bestest-sister-friends kitchen table with two boxes of LOreal in my hair. I was so relaxed, and felt so comfortable with everyone there.Everything was so well explained, including before and after care. I was able to easily get in touch with them for any questions I had. This place is PHENOMENAL. I will be highly recommending them to everyone I know looking for hair help!FIVE GOLD STARS!

I recently went to Kimmie’s for the first time to get a complete new hair color. My stylist was Evelina and she did absolutely amazing! I showed her an inspirational picture and I left with that exact hair! Never in my life have I left looking EXACTLY how I wanted. She’s amazing and the rest of the staff is awesome. You instantly feel welcomed, it was great and I’ve never been happier. They’re an hour away from my house, but it’s worth the drive.

I am beyond impressed with Jen C and KimmieB Salon 💜💜💜 I booked for a color correction and thought I would have to settle for an all over darker color as my hair is naturally curly and fragile. Jen was able to lighten my hair while adding depth *and* did not compromise the integrity of my hair. The atmosphere of the salon left me feeling good on the inside and out. Its scary to find a new stylist when your longtime person leaves the area. What a delight to find Kimmie B! First, the color. Ive been doing vivid colors for a while and Kimmie took my fantasy hair to a new level. My mermaid self is three weeks in now and that is when the true test begins. The colors are still bright, my hair is still soft and the cut is great. I get comments and questions every day. Beyond the product though, my experience with Kimmie Bs was lovely. I’m new to Florida and saw several recommendations on Facebook for Evelina at Kimmieb Salon. I reached out to her and she was kind enough to squeeze me in for a hair cut quickly. Evelina made me feel very comfortable and gave me a great cut. My hair is long, fine and straight and she listened to my concerns before she worked her magic. When I found out she does tinsel strands I was so excited to add them too. I’m adding a picture but unfortunately I was caught in the rain but you’ll see the sparkle and the smile on my face. After 2 years of Covid hair, Evelina was a godsend. She took my severely over-processed and turned it into a lovely lived in blonde that requires next to no maintenance. I was honestly amazed at how knowledgeable and capable she was. Upon entering I was immediately greeted and happy to see such a clean space. I travel from Lakewood Ranch just to have my hair cut and colored here. The business and the staff are like a pearl I found in a sea of oysters. TALENTED, very reasonably priced and woman owned. About a year and a half ago I was calling around to different stylists because I was turning 40 and needed a lift for my heart and soul. Most refused to work with me because I had henna’d my hair over a year prior. But Kimmie was amazing. She asked me what I wanted, spent a lot of time talking to me about it on the phone, took my reference pics very seriously, and talked me through exactly what would happen and how she’d approach it. She was also super honest about what could, and could not, be done with my hair with the damaged shape it was in. I’ve never gone to anyone since and trust her entirely. She always seems to know exactly what will look best to frame my face shape and eye color, works with whatever reference I give her, and is always totally honest about what’s doable and what isn’t. Plus she’s entirely supportive and is always willing to teach me how to take the best care of my vivid beautiful colors. I felt instantly welcome here, and over the years I have seen her treat so many different types of people with ultimate respect, even and especially those who society often shuns. Kimmie is made of magic and I love working with her.

Its funny. Im writing this review, not because Ive been to this salon, but because I loved a ladys hair I saw in public. I asked her who did her hair and she said kimmieb. I would never color my hair, but the way her hair was colored was on par. There was a blend of blue and purple, seemed to be strategically placed, yet had an art flow. (Edit... because I was interrupted and didnt finish my review.)I would highly recommend this salon for anyone that wants their hair colored.Maybe its time for that red convertible and blue hair I always joke about!

I went to Kimmie looking for a very pale ashy blonde color. I showed up to her chair with hair that had been colored too dark, the blonde had become so brassy it was orange and was just a disaster. I left that day, 7 hours later with the beautiful pale ashy blonde I wanted and hair that was soft as silk and not breaking off. Today, I went in to have my roots touched up and we added some purple on the underneath. My hair is flawless now and Kimmie is a true hair artist and magician with bleach, color and all things amazing hair related! I cannot recommend her enough!
