    I been coming to Unity Hair and Spa Salon for about 6, 7 months. When I first started my hair was so damaged; very dry, brittle, broken off in different area and scalp showing in the top of my head, etc., …. but now my hair is living it’s best live; full and shiny, strong and healthy, and flowing. I’m so grateful and thinking for Litedra working with my hair and bringing life back in it. This is a very kind and sweet young lady. She listens to your desires about your hair needs and try to deliver to the best of her ability, and that’s on appoint, thank you LiTedra I really appreciate you.

    Unity Spa is an excellent place to get your hair done. Litedra Burgess is my Hair Stylist. Shes has been my Hair Stylist for over 4 years. Litedra is very knowledgeable and professional. Shes an excellent Hair Stylist. My service is always very close to my appointment time. I am very satisfied with Litedra.

    I LOVED my experience! I am very particular about who touches my hair. I never go to a salon! But I was in need of a light trim and straighten. Mrs.April took care of me and CLEANED the mess out of my hair and took her time to talk to me about my natural texture because I am natural girl and and aiming for healthier hair this year. She squared me away and provided a calm and beautiful experience for this girl and I will be back! Oh and over 15 years in the hair game so know that you are getting a pro ❤️

    Ms. LiTedra did an amazing job on my hair! I didnt know how to properly cleanse or style my hair, but LiTedra showed me and thoroughly explained how to do both. Ms. LiTedra is very educated about natural hair and she will explain exactly how your hair works. She walked me through the entire process so I was never left in the dark. She asked me questions throughout, so if there was something else I wanted or didnt want, I could let her know. I learned how my hair works so I can get the best results. She was very patient and took her time with hair. I absolutely love the way my curls look now! Thank you so much.

    Love love Litedra! and so does my hair 😊 The time she has taken to teach me how to care for my hair is exceptional. Not only is her passion evident; you know she’s done the research by how she takes the extra steps to make sure I understand as well as explaining why a technique does or doesn’t work.     Always a pleasure taking my daughter (10) there, I always learn more about my daughter’s hair and how to take care of it. LiTedra shares her expertise and gives me tips and products to use as we go through care for my daughter’s natural hair. Great experience, highly recommended.

    Litera is an AMAZING stylist she really took her time educating me, showing and explaining how my curls are acting and what can I do to improve it. She is very knowledgeable, simplistic and very patient. I asked her a ton of questions and not once she was rude, annoyed or bothered by the questions I have asked her. My hair came out amazing still with the small issues she was seeing in my hair. I would recommend her 1000/10.

    A wonderful salon! I am always extremely happy with the service and love the way my hair looks and feels every time! Stylist April does an amazing job. I am always happy with my hair and she makes an effort to style my hair in a way that makes my thinning areas less noticeable.     I had such a wonderful experience here. This has been the best Salon I have ever been to. I am very tender headed and Im always very hesitant on who I let do my hair because of it...Well that and I have a head full of hair and then some. I set up a consultation with April a while back and I absolutely loved the result! She was very professional and took such good care of my hair. I loved having April as my hair stylist and I absolutely recommend setting up a consultation with her she will work wonders for you too!!

    I have been seeing LiTedra here at Unity since September and I could not be happier with my service! I have natural hair and was nervous about getting a silk press and risking heat damage, but she is very informative and knowledgeable about African American hair and how to care for it. My style later 2 weeks and counting with no damage. I truly recommend her if you are looking for a natural hair salon with reasonable prices and quality work!

    I have been a client for the last 5 years. I was dedicated to my silk press because I didnt know what to do with my hair when it was in its natural state. After Tedra made many attempts encouraging me to embrace my natural texture, I was forced to by the pandemic. Honestly, I wished I would have listened to Tedra sooner. There is a steep learning curve but with practice, I have achieved a week long set via the wash and go. It isnt something that I could have achieved without Tedras guidance and patience. I am a difficult client because I needed to be deprogrammed from the old ways. Oil was my best friend, but I wasnt utilizing it appropriately. My hair feels different and behaves differently now. I still cant get my hair to look as polished as it does when I go to Unity, but Im not a professional and Im ok with admitting that.

    Thank you Unity Salon Spa!!!!! I made an appointment for my hair one week prior to my wedding and went there to have my hair done the morning of. I dont remember the ladies name that did my hair, but she got my vision for my hair after seeing two pictures and it came out BEAUTIFULLY. She was friendly and calming even though I was a nervous wreck! It is hard to find good natural hair salons, especially from out of town! This place is reasonably priced and they get u in and out efficiently. Only downfall was the small parking lot and limited seating space in the lobby.

    LiTedra is the best natural hair professional hands down! Booking and appointments are streamlined, professional and the assistant is polite and courteous. She is highly trained and astutely knowledgeable of natural hair, health & wellness, and skin. There are two other cosmetologist in the Salon as well.

    I have never had crochets done so exquisitely fast!! I was prepared to sit for 6 hours and ended up washed, blow dried, braided, oiled and crocheted in less than 2 1/2 hours. I feel so beautiful and refreshed. I will be back, Ms. Shirley!!

    Excellent hair salon. Online appointment booking thru app. Owner is knowledgeable about caring for ethnic hair, natural or relaxed. Price was fair ($60.00 for steam conditioner and silk press) and finished product was soft and shiney. Equally great, I didnt have to sit there for 40 days and 40 nights. Thanks a million. Will def return.😃
