    Been coming to Floyd’s at UCF for years now and always leave happy. The shop’s clean, the vibe’s relaxed, and the whole crew is cool and welcoming. Big shout out to Linda—she really knows what she’s doing. Her fades are sharp every time and she always makes sure I’m walking out looking right. Appreciate y’all.

    All the staff are always very warm and welcoming, whether its your very first time or youre a regular. Theyre very particular with making sure exactly how you want it cut, and provide additional services like shoulder massage and shampoo, as well as a hot towel over your eyes as they wash your hair. Overall, the service and ambience of the shop is just as awesome as the services provided.Edit: My stylist was Jasper, and this review is after my second time going to him. Literally the best there for any sort of layered cuts or tbh anything in general.

    My barber is RJ he is excellent at fading and scissors work. Its hard to find both trust me Ive tried. He is also up to date on trends and had cut my hair in many different styles. He is so good I now take my two boys to him as well. He is patient with them and keeps them looking fresh for school. The ladies are all over our boys because of these amazing cuts. His availability is also very good this kid is always working so its not hard to book appointments. Top notch barber thats why he is now a headliner. If your looking for an outstanding cut give JR a try I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

    Went to this shop at the recommendation of some friends and it was awesome! Got my hair cut by Jasper and he was amazing. He cut my hair in a way where the natural waves stand out (other shops I went to would just cut them and my hair would look weirdly flat or have random pieces that stuck out). I will for sure be going back. The atmosphere was so friendly and I can’t stop looking at my hair because of how much I love it!

    Walking into the shop, it’s very inviting and fun. Everyone welcomes you in, even if they’re with a client. Cara, the front desk, is very sweet and welcoming. I feel comfortable and excited to take my daughter and myself there.

    First timer, Ill be back as Arnold says! Even for an older guy the R&R atmosphere doesnt make you FEEL old. Xavier was fabulous. His first day as well. He listened to me and gave me a terrific scissor cut. I felt good and looked great. My students ( I went to the Floyds at UCF) all loved my look and style of the cut! I am sure it depends on the stylist but Xavier was terrific for me. Price was also fair for the service!

    I’ve been looking for a new barbershop for several months and I will 100% be back. I booked with Jasper and can’t speak highly enough. He listened to me without rushing me through what I wanted and heard my concerns about past haircuts/barbers. The attention to detail had my hair and fade come out better than I could have imagined! The shop itself is super nice, lgbtq friendly and laidback. The staff I came across were also very friendly and made conversation with me. I also purchased the Floyd’s Grooming Texture Powder and will definitely need to stock up. 10/10 will recommend anyone looking for a new barbershop.

    Fantastic barber nearby UCF. Big shout out to RJ, who is my consistent headliner. He always gives great cuts and is fun to talk to. Definitely recommend him as well as the barbershop as a whole. In my opinion, its much better than the one on campus at UCF. ⁠Its on the pricier side but its worth it.

    Awesome place. I had Dylan give me a haircut. It was my first time to a Floyd’s Barbershop. I didn’t know what to expect but their system was easy to use to book an appointment and to check in.The location was very cool inside and everyone was super friendly.Dylan went through what I wanted and helped me get back looking good. I had gotten sick last year and hadn’t had a haircut for almost a year.Prices were really reasonable for the time and quality. I will be back!!!

    Floyds at UCF is my favorite hair salon in Orlando. The affordability to quality ratio is incredible, topped off by an awesome atmosphere and fun stylists! I have Becca to thank for my last few haircuts - shes never forced or formulaic, but genuinely engaged in going with the flow of what you want (and making insightful suggestions to improve upon your ideas). The UCF student discount, pop culture decor, and great music are the cherries on top of an amazing hair styling experience :)

    I went to this establishment for the first time, in search of a place to get my sons hair cut. From the telephone call, to the first greeting through the door, and the kindness shown in the chair, this place is on point. The communication before the cut was started, was clear and thorough. The stylist was very patient and accommodating, to my sons texture issues with the chair, and his lack of focus at times. It was honestly the first haircut my son didnt freak out on. Alex I. was my sons stylist for this cut, and will be for future cuts.

    I received the best haircut in my life. Linda told me I don’t get to choose. She would give me the cut that would suit me best and I am excited. Apparently my hair is curly but I’m so afraid of layers that I keep it all one length and it’s weighed down. It’s so bouncy and curly with the layers!! I love it!!

    My barber Jasper M. was really attentive to what I wanted done with my hair and was super helpful during the entire process. Floyd’s is well known for their friendly barbers, but Jasper really made my visit special and worry-free, he also made my undercut look super fresh. I will be requesting him for all of my future hair cuts at the UCF Orlando, FL location.

    Always upbeat and professional, stylists are very big on communication and satisfaction. Never have a bad trip here, and the cuts are always perfect. Brought my son in for a messy undercut, and the stylist talked him through the whole thing, asked his opinion every step of the way, and kept the conversation going. Any time she needed him to adjust his head or sit up, she was very gentle and patient no matter how often she had to remind him. We both appreciated Sheyanne (I know Ive spelt it wrong) so much, and my son loved being able to write her a post-it shout out.

    I have come here many times to see JB and Jerry and have had an excellent experience with both of them. Everyone I have spoken to from the front desk, to the stylists, and even the manager all treated me very politely and with respect. I never feel like I am being rushed out the door when I am here and have always been happy with my haircut. Highly recommend them.

    I don’t usually make reviews but I felt like my experience required one. I came in for an appointment with JB because I saw all of the praise he has gotten on here. I wasnt exactly sure on what haircut I was going for, but JB was very accommodating and made sure I was satisfied. With my unclear and vague instructions, he was able to give me one of the best cuts I’ve had in a while. If you guys are in between barbers, definitely check out JB.

    I was looking for a colorist 5 years ago, I visited over 7 colorist and each time I left disappointed. My husband was getting his hair cut by Nicole ( and always got a terrific haircut) and he suggested I see her. I was hesitant to go to a barbershop to get color, but I was desperate. Best day of my life. Nicole is a genius, never ever disappointed, She remembers every detail of my prior visits. She listens, makes suggestions and then works her magic. I highly recommend Nicole, not just for color, she gives a really great haircut and advice :) The staff is friendly and the shop is neat and clean.

    Jerry R did an amazing job on my hair! I have thick and curly hair so cutting it can be a hassle but Jerry handled it well. He definitely knew what he was doing and gave recommendations of how to care for my type of hair. We did a longer version of a mohawk/mullet with shaved sides. He asked me a lot of questions to guarantee he had my vision down. I appreciate that and Ill be back again!

    After a year and a half without a professional cut, I finally caved and got set up with Becca. She is so fun to be with and really knows and loves hair!! She gave me exactly the cut I wanted, and was very careful not to cut off too much as I am in the process of growing my hair long. I feel so lucky to have been introduced immediately to my go-to hairstylist!! Also I felt absolutely safe at this shop — social distancing was practiced and it was not crowded.     Ive been going to Floyds Barbershop for a little over a year and started out with Brandon as my barber. After he left I was introduced to Jennifer R and not only has she been one of the most professional Stylists I have met, she has also become a friend of mine who I trust to cut my hair. I moved to Titusville FL and still make the drive to Floyds to see her for a hair cut.Its nice to go to a place where I feel welcomed and know that I am getting the best service every 2-3 weeks.Thank you for always hiring true professionals at this location, from the check in staff to the barbers/stylists!

    At first glance I wasn’t sure if this was going to be a place to get my haircut, but I have it a shot. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made. Cal is the best barber I ever had. Not only are his haircuts immaculate, but we go over new looks together and have incredible conversations. Responsible for keeping me fresh for 2+ years.     I walked in two days ago to arguably the best experience Ive ever had in a barbershop. The people were nice the decorations and themes were cool and the barbers really knew what they were doing. I got my haircut done by a woman by the name of Nicole who gave me the freshest cut Ive ever had, shes kind and has a great understanding for what look youre going for so I would definitely recommend her. If you are contemplating stoping at this location hurry up and go, Trust me you wont regret it.

    Ask for Nicole! Shes extremely professional, easy-going, and has been my go-to for months.The location itself is pretty nice and surprisingly clean for a barbershop. Definitely call ahead to schedule an appointment, there are almost always 3-4 people waiting as walk-ins.

    I went to Floyd’s today because my favorite stylist, Becca G, just started working there. The atmosphere in this place is so much better than the place Becca used to work. It has a constant stream of great music playing in the background, a bunch of cool band posters on the walls, and everyone there just seems to be having a great time. As I said, Becca is my favorite stylist and I highly recommend her work. She is an artist with a pair of fancy scissors. When I go to see her, I don’t give her any instruction because I trust that the style she knows how to best style my hair.

    Throughout the the past 3 years I have been enrolled at UCF, this has been a wonderful barbershop I have visited for my haircuts. The reception, energy, and vibrant atmosphere raises the bar compared to other barbers in the area. I highly recommend CAL! He will bring out the best style for your haircut needs. Not only he is very talented himself, the man is passionate about his work and... his HALLOWEEN decorations!     Best Place for a Haircut!I have been going to Floyds since I came down to UCF and even though Im not one to write reviews, Im definitely making an exception in this case after my last service. Every time Ive gone before I usually get a different person because Ive been looking for my favorite. Im writing this review now because I just found her. I just got a haircut today (I did the 30min call ahead), and Anna was the person who cut my hair. I was having a pretty stressful week so I love it when I go to Floyds and can just sit back and relax knowing Ill walk away with a great cut that will continue to look good weeks later. Dont get me wrong, Floyds is the perfect place to go to if you want to listen to good music and have a good conversation but personally I prefer just to close my eyes and relax. Going back to Anna, she gave, hands down, the BEST head and neck massage I had ever gotten anywhere! It was definitely something I needed after this last week of work and school. I love how every barber takes their time with each customer each of them have their own unique process of getting the job done. Honestly, the value you get for the price paid is unbelievable.I also got a great cut a couple months ago from Jamaal (I didnt forget about you man), and it was his birthday so I gave him an extra tip on top of the normal amount I give (great haircut as well of course).TLDR: Go to Floyds. You wont regret it.

    Xander has been my barber for quite awhile now and I honestly wouldn’t use anyone else. Super friendly with a great attitude really makes the overall experience relaxing. His attention to detail making sure the haircut is the best that it can be and exactly what I want is so nice to see because it shows he genuinely cares about his work. Also the rest of the employees at this shop are super friendly and very welcoming making sure everyone has a nice time. Would give more stars if I could.

    Ladies!!! This place is fabulous for womens hair, dont be afraid by the word barber. Everyone in the shop was so kind and welcoming. I had my haircut by Tip V. and she was so kind and reassuring. She asked a bunch of questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I have really curly hair and she handled it wonderfully which not a lot of stylists know how to. I also got an undercut which was super scary but she did it perfectly! I absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to get an awesome haircut!

    Cal is by far the BEST barber I’ve been to. He understands exactly what you want done, and his fade skills are incomparable to anyone I’ve seen. You want the best haircut? Go see Cal at Floyd’s!     Floyds does a great job! I went here after having had my hair messed up by another shop. The atmosphere is great, and they have an arcade machine in the waiting area. The cut was excellent, and the shampoo comes with a hot towel, straight-razor neck shave, and a massage. Its a little higher in price than nearby shops, but you get what you pay for. I will definitely be coming here from now on!

    I have had my hair cut here for almost 2 years and I have to say Cal is my man. He is always fun to talk to, genuinely cares about how my curly hair looks, and goes the extra mile to make it the cleanest cut I can get.It definitely gets loud there but it is because they play a variety of rock and rap songs and I enjoy that.

    I have gone to Sierra for years and she is just an all around incredible person! She is always refining her already natural talents and ready to take on any challenge. She is very easy to talk to and will always ask questions to understand what you’re asking for while providing professional feedback on what would look best.     This place is incredible! Ever since I moved to Florida its the only place I get my hair cut. JB is my regular barber and he is absolutely spectacular!     My hairdresser - Kelvin was amazing! He cut my hair really well. Knew exactly how I wear it. Nice guy, very chatty too! The vibe in there was very relaxed and such an amazing price for a haircut, I gave a really good tip too! Highly recommend!

    Okay I dont even know where to begin. If you are looking to get a haircut only make an appointment with Becca. She is not only a hairstylist but an artist! She is so kind, caring, and knows what she is doing. I come in with a new style probably every time and she always knows what to do. Every time I leave I feel so confident and like a new person!     I’ve been going to Cal for 3 years since I moved to Orlando. He was by far one of the best, funniest, professional and all around barbers I’ve ever been to.     Moved from up North and it has been a struggle to find the right barber. A friend of my mine suggested I try out Floyds. This place is great, lively, entertaining, awesome music and the most friendly people I have met. Safe to say found my barber spot in Orlando. You can do walk ins but they barbers are so busy its hard to get a slot. The best thing to do is to call ahead and schedule.

    I have to give credit where its due, and Floyds, specifically this location, has definitely earned it. I have always gone to the Floyds on South Orange and loved their work there, and when I found out that there was one right by UCF, I knew I had to try it out. After coming in, I was quickly met by Andrea who is a great hair stylist and barber. She was patient, friendly, and really took the time and effort to achieve the look I had wanted.     I take my stepson to Cal all the time and his haircuts are always on point. When I moved to this side of town I was hesitant about trying a new barber.     Cal is an artist/physician, and you can tell he loves what he does. He’s not just a Barber, I swear, “he saves lives”. Definitely saved mine! He takes his craft seriously and you can tell. I have been looking for a new barber for a while and I watched Cal for 2 years on IG before I pulled the trigger. Haha.     I have lived in the local area for many years and Floyds UCF has been my go to local barber/hairstylist place for almost a decade. I have been growing out my hair since 2012 and after it gets to the required length I donate it to children with hair loss (cancer charity). Becca and Lala have been great for these hair donations. Becca is extremely personable and most importantly is a hard worker and gives a lot of time to her client. Thats exactly what a customer wants!     I spent a couple years going from the typical salon chains around town and struggled to find any sort of consistency or satisfaction with my haircut. I may be successful once in a while, but more often than not, I would be dissatisfied after a day or two (finding hair that wasnt cut or clipped where it should be). On a whim, I tried the Floyds by UCF and just happened to get Xander. Havent gone anywhere else since! Xander has always taken the time to make sure he does a great job and Ive never had a single complaint. He is an excellent stylist and even turned me on to products that Ive also started using full time (that was another challenge to find something that worked with my hair).     Had a good experience here. I came in for a beard trim. Great attention to detail. Ended up getting a hot towel facial and a head message with a clean on the house for being a first timmer. Felt excellent when i left. I reccommend getting an appoinment. It seems that it stays busy which is a good sign. Only thing is the prices are a bit high but its expected for a high caliber establishment. I shave my head, but if I had hair would I frequent this place for sure.

    Great first time with Rachael Rae Rae who knows how to give a Marine Corps style high and tight with a nose wax.     If youre by the UCF area then you need to see Christian, one of the better quality haircuts I have recieved and you wont find anything around like it unless you go out of your way to 4 Gentlemans where they do quality haircuts as well. But the service here is unmatched, when you see the price normally youre hesitant but they provided military or student discounts and are always offering deals and coupons to get you to come back.     Christian is by far your best barber ive seen at Flyods Ucf. Let’s just start by saying I’ve not had great expirences at this shop by a previous barber. Cal took care of it. But when I came back to give it a second try. I was given to Christian and it was the best recommendation they made. Christian will take the time to make sure your happy and leaving feeling good. The reason I’m writing this is because yesterday @2 when your front girl left and the new one came in. She was out of place and lazy! All she did was sit on the counter(unprofessional) and tell Christian while I’m in his chair to hurry up because there someone who walked in and requested him. Christian was very professional and told her please ask him if he wants to wait and or come back. He doesn’t want me rush nor upset. I told him to take care of the guy and to not worry about me. But the whole time I was there all she did was stare down at me and him and gave me a bad vibe. You deserve to know that yesterday while I was there he did it only seem to act as a manager and take care of the other guy and keep him happy waiting for him but also make sure I left early and too me that shows how loyal and awesome he is part of your team. The other girl should be gone in my books. Especially how rude she was too me. She does nothing!!!! But sit in cals chair and stare or on desk.

    Just read a lot of bad reviews about this place, and I am truthfully flabbergasted! Just walked in, early shortly after 9, and sat in the chair with Ensor!I came here once before I got married in March! Without letting them know I was bringing 5 groomsmen,(dont do this, call a day or two before) we were all able to get a shave. Today I only needed a beard trim, but Ensor took his time, held an IT conversation, and gave some advice on how to upkeep my beard! (Ya this is new to me).This is a college town so for the bad reviews I read about time management, you have to understand where you live, and realize that this place will be busy during school sessions. Learn to plan your days, call ahead to make sure your barber is not on vacation, and then grow up!Great place, good people, will always come back!

    Ok, if I could give this more stars, I would. Let me tell you a few things. 1. Grai was my barber and bless this woman. She instantly started talking to me like shed known me for 10 years and that was the best thing (Im new-ish to the area and to have that kind of interaction made me feel awesome). 2. She made me feel super comfortable and like me wanting to shave a lot of my head and cut the rest of my hair really short was the best decision of my life. Btw. It was. 3. She listened to what I wanted and double checked all the things about my hair as we went to make sure she was getting it how I would like it.
