    Wow ! I can’t rave about this salon enough . David knows exactly what he’s doing , he’s professional he’s sweet , he’s so creative with hair , and listens to exactly what you want. I’ve been going to him for years , and I wouldn’t go to anybody else . It’s a lovely cozy salon .

    I will be coming back! David is awesome all around, we agreed on everything he mentioned, I just went on 4/6/24 for the first time after I stayed with my previous hairdresser from 2014-2020, she left her salon during the pandemic & I hadnt found anyone to come close, until David, thank you!     David has been doing my hair for almost a year now and I couldnt be happier! My hair is extremely thick with cowlicks and a mixture of curls, waves and straight sections. Ive had more bad haircuts than I can count. David is amazing with cutting and shaping my hair as well as coloring it. I feel fabulous when I leave his salon. I would highly recommend David!

    First time going here and the vibe was amazing 🤩 David was my stylist (Michelle also helped) and they both did an incredible job. I went in with a bunch of ideas for my hair and he made them all come together perfectly. I love my hair 💗 the salon was clean and well decorated. Definitely will be returning!

    The BEST salon in town.. David has done my hair ever since I’ve moved down here from Chicago I will never go anywhere else! His work is incredible. Michelle is such a welcoming person and makes you feel very comfortable in the salon. David is very hardworking and it shows! Walking into the salon makes you feel like you’re at home and apart of their salon family. Would recommend for anyone who is looking for the best quality around! Thank you guys! ❤️

    David cut both my hair and my 10 year old sons. He did a great job on both and I would recommend going to them.The reason for 4 stars is on the price switching/lack of transparency for kids. My son is 10, so I booked a childs cut, listed at the time to be $17. I typically consider humans under 12 to be children. However, he had been growing his hair out and it was around his shoulders. After both cuts were completed, David said it would be $25 for my son because his hair is longer and it took more time. I dont like contention and in the moment I was surprised and just paid/tipped normal and left.However, if I had brought in my child daughter, with hair of equal length, would the price have changed? A child is a child, and there were no specifications on hair length to be considered a child price.I think the pricing, like the majority of salons, is very gendered, which I am not dinging them about. The 4 stars was for the switch occurring AFTER the cut. As a client I should have been told before the cut, when David saw my son and realized, hey, just so you know, his hair is longer than anticipated and my cutting skills for his hair are valued at $25. I should be able to know beforehand the cost.My suggestion would be to be a bit more specific on pricing. While my husband is a man, his hair is also past his shoulders. So would he book a mens or womens cut?If youre going to charge by length of hair, then price it by length of hair.From my understanding, regardless of hair length, if youre a woman, your price is the same. For men, I assumed there were less men getting their hair cut at a salon, so they reduce the price to attract male clients. I assumed children were similar. I didnt think it was based on length of hair because women with pixies are being charged the same as women with shoulder length hair. I would just say, if youre going to charge by length of hair and not by actual gender or age, then pricing should reflect that so people can accurately choose the appropriate service.

    My appointment with David on 6/23/21 was excellent. David was very knowledgeable about the type of cut that I wanted. He has done an amazing job and is great at razor cuts. Michelle who is the owner is also an excellent hairstylist and takes pride in her business. I will definitely be back and reccomend her establishment to anyone. Price is also reasonable. Thank you Michelle and David for a wonderful experience.

    Michelle and David both helped me discuss how to fix my hair... it was in bad shape! Then David did the job n he did n EXCELLENT job!! Was sooo Happy! Will definitely be going there regularly.     Michelle has been cutting my hair for years, always does a great job, with a smile and very enjoyable conversation. A few days ago I had my eyebrows done, permanent makeup. It was my first time and I was very nervous. As always, Michelle did an awesome job, made me feel relaxed and comfortable. A very enjoyable and beautiful experience. Thank you Michelle as always.

    I came to Michelle Taylor’s salon because a good friend of mine recommended that salon. David is my hair stylist and he has given me absolutely beautiful blended blonde highlights the last few times I visited. I live in Atlanta and whenever I drive down to Tampa, I always make a detour so he can touch up my roots and overall color. The salon is super cute, well maintained and the everyone that works there is extremely welcoming. It’s always a pleasant experience getting my hair done there. I would highly recommend visiting, because clients will have a great experience. I’m 100% satisfied with all of the highlights I’ve gotten done there and will continue to take my business there.

    My Mom, Gloria, went to Michelles today for a cut & color. WOW!!! Totally awesome job by Michelle!!! Her hair is thin, but looks full due to the way she layered it. Also her bangs are feathered nicely. She has never had better cut in her life. Plus Michelle & David are friendly & very nice!!!

    Michelle did an amazing job on my balayage that was done. I was nervous that with the layers in my hair that a balayage would look badly and not only did Michelle do an amazing job, but she finished everything in an hour and a half. Best salon in town and I would highly recommend paying Michelle a visit!
