I want to thank the entire staff at H by H for such a wonderful experience! They were very accommodating of me and my husbands work schedule when making an appointment. From the moment you enter, it is a very welcoming environment. They have excellent Covid protocols and make your comfort a top priority, so you know youre safe and are in good hands. I was lucky enough to have Edgar bless my hair the other day! He did a gorgeous balayage and cut that Im absolutely in love with. We were on the same wavelength right away and he worked with my natural hair color to achieve the beautifully blended look I was hoping for. He is such a doll of a human being! He takes as much care and detail to your hair as he does to the person. I felt right at home

I had an amazing experience at this salon! Cindy did an incredible job with my cornrows – six of them in a beautiful combination of blond and brown, reaching waist length. Her attention to detail and skill are top-notch, leaving me extremely satisfied with the results.I also want to commend Nia, the receptionist, for her exceptional service. She helped schedule my appointment and followed up diligently, showcasing a commitment to customer satisfaction.Overall, a fantastic team and service. Hisham is absolutely amazing at his craft. My hair and makeup on my wedding day were better than I could have ever dreamed of. Being a “destination” wedding (6 hours from home), I was very concerned about just picking someone for such an important day so I decided to test out Hisham’s skills by having him color my hair (highlight root touch ups) for the 8ish months leading up to my wedding. In this time we also played around with some wedding style ideas and did my actual hair and makeup trial. The trial was amazing; I got so many complements at the kids birthday party I went to afterwards that I knew I had picked the right place. My final hair coloring was the DAY BEFORE my wedding due to my own schedule leading up to the big day, but I had no doubt everything would turn out perfect given Hisham’s skills. The day of the wedding, Hisham did an unbelievable job; he took all of the feedback from how I felt from the trial and turned it into the absolute perfect look. He also stayed within the time frame he told me which is critical for a wedding day timeline! I can’t wait to visit again for my next root touch-up (yes – I will be driving the 6 hours for my hair) and would absolutely use for any future hair/makeup needs!

Jess has improved my hair health so much by using quality products and such great care. She is phenomenal and I highly recommend her. The salon recently moved locations, but is still located in the Coconut Grove area. I love the bright, fresh look of the new space. 5/5 stars!

I’ve had wonderful experiences at this salon. Jess has been doing my hair for a couple years and she’s a pro at color and cuts. It’s hard to find someone in Miami who’s really good with blondes, but Jess nails it. She’s very professional and her highlights are the best I’ve had in Miami, and I’ve been living here for 15+ years. She also gives excellent blow drys that last 3-4 days. I highly recommend!

I love this salon!! Hisham worked miracles on my hair. For 10 years, I have struggled to find a hairdresser in Miami who does blonde highlights the way I like them. Hisham is incredible and I could not be more pleased with both my color and cut. I always have a great experience at Hair by Hisham. My nail technician always treats me with great care when I do the gel manicure. I also did the Organic Moroccan Pedicure which left my feet and legs so soft and felt as if I was walking in clouds. My wash and blow dry was perfect as I show my stylist a picture of a hairstyle and replicated the same style to my current do. Thank you Hair by Hisham! I recommend it!! Hair by Hisham is delightful, comfortable, reliable and best of all they have the hairdresser that I have had and loved for 20+ years, Carlos C. His coloring is something that could only be done by his vast experience. It is magical. His cuts are tailored to my personality. Although I may not get extensions, I personally know of his expertise and national training that he has received. I love this place. Highly recommended!

I found Hair by Hisham while Googling near by salons in the Grove area not expecting to get fit in since it was so last minute. They took me on the spot no problem and oh my god I will NEVER go anywhere again. Jamal is truly talented at his craft. My hair is long and very think and not easy to deal with. He is quick, detail oriented and a sweetheart. He has become my hair stylist, friend and family. I am beyond happy with the over all service and experience here. 10/10 would recommend!

This has got to be the best hair salon in the Miami area. For years Ive gone to a regular small barbershop who would always fail to style my hair as I requested. I decided to wanted to let my hair grow and then style it. I came across Hair By Hisham in Coconut Grove and made an appointment. The experience was awesome the day of my appointment. I was immediately offered something to drink, such as coffee wine or water. Dariel was my stylist who I had the pleasure to meet. I explained to Dariel the hair style I was looking into and he instantly understood me and answered all my questions and concerns. He educated me on the reasons as to why her was using certain clip sizes, why he cut different parts of my hair in different lengths, and how these features would bring out my hair for the style I wish. I was then offered coffee again by Hisham, the owner, and he went next door to the coffee shop, Panther Coffee, and got me the espresso I requested. In the end, I had the hair style I wanted I felt confident with my hair and I was loaded with caffeine 👌🏻 I immediately scheduled another appointment for 2 weeks and I had a great time there. Hair by Hisham is an amazing salon and I saw as all the other customers were happy drinking their wine and having their hair done. Highly recommend this hair salon.

I felt compelled to write a review for Hair by Hisham because my experience there was beyond wonderful! I came in for a consultation with Hisham for hair extensions. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. I came back to have the extensions put in and I am extremely pleased with my hair! The quality of the hair is amazing and the end result is very natural. Hisham is a master  He is precise and cut/blended the hair beautifully. Hisham took his time with me and explained how to care for the hair and also told me to contact them should I have any questions, etc. The entire staff is friendly and they all go out of their way to make sure that you feel comfortable and leave satisfied with your hair. Hisham has been doing my hair for over a dozen years. He is hands down the best. I always leave his chair feeling beautiful, happy and confident. He is a master stylist and his attention to detail coupled with his impeccable sense of style and beauty as well as his creativity and clever wit make every trip to the salon a delight. He is a genius with color and an expert at providing the right cut for ones hair. In fact, every member of his team is exceptional. At one time or another, each of them has either expertly styled my hair or assisted Hisham in doing so. Alain, who you will find at the front desk does much more than manage the salon; he is the consummate host who makes you feel special and more than welcome each time you visit the salon. The salon itself is both elegant and inviting. All this AND my hair is simply gorgeous!

I moved to Miami a while ago and Ive been trying to find a stylist I feel comfortable with. Ive done my research, believe me... So I found Hair by Hisham, the place had great reviews, a lot of those reviews mentioned Carlos. So, I scheduled my appointment with him... I loved every part of the process. He greeted me kindly, listened to what I wanted, a light brown balayage, subtle but noticeable (I know...) and he got it so right! I love what he did with my hair color. Another thing is he gives you your space, he chats but hes not that chatty hairdresser I tend to run away from. Thank you Carlos! Im coming back for sure.

This is my second time at the Salon, but my first getting a Rezo Cut from William Laurel. I had some expectations because he has a strong following on his personal profile, so I was somewhat excited and scared about doing a big chop after transitioning for 18 months. I have to admit, my expectations were met far beyond words !!! Not only did he manage to explain the step by step process, did a cut that was perfect for my current curl pattern, framing it beautifully, but also took the time to explain how I should style the cut at home, with the correct products and technique! I am in love with the result and already booked my next trim with him. The salon is clean and vibrant (almost always packed!), the staff is super kind, and Alain was also sweet enough to send me texts as reminders of my appointment and about changes in the scheduling. Definitely a great experience, cant wait to return!!!

I called Hair by Hisham to get info on getting balayage done for the first time. The person on the phone was incredibly nice and immediately made me feel comfortable. He was able to give me an appointment right away and said he would set me up with Hisham, which I thought was really nice. When I got there, Hisham knew exactly what I wanted and got right to work. My hair came out great, much more than what I could have ever asked for! It looks really natural and very healthy. My biggest concern was possible damage to my hair or going too light which he completely understood. It was a great experience overall. I will definitely be back!

Hisham cut my hair the other day. My last cut until my wedding day. I was very nervous but turns out I had my first amazing hair cut experience.He was the first stylist to sit down, look me in the eye, and talk to me in detail about what I want...in english...not in hair stylist language. After I communicated what I wanted, he gave suggestions... and by suggestions I mean just that. He did not pressure me at all like some stylists do. I have been thinking about his suggestions (for example light highlights or extensions for the wedding day) ever since and I think theyre great ideas!!I highly recommend this establishment!

My best friend recommended Jamal for a blow out, I was always asking her how her hair looked so shiny and healthy! Now I see why, Jamal is amazing! I called Hair by Hisham because I literally woke up with blue hair - a home dye box gone very wrong! They are one of the few salons that are open on a Sunday in Miami and I got an appointment right away with Jamal. Jamal was absolutely amazing. He told me not to worry, and that he would take care of me. He did an amazing job. He not only took out the blue color in my hair, he did it without damaging my hair too! My hair looked soft and healthy by the time he was finished. Thank you, Jamal, for saving my locks!!

Very good service here! Very professional and friendly! My hair was seriously damaged by the other salon, super frizzy, worse than dry grass, looked like gonna explode in no minutes. After consulting with Hisham, he recommended me do a touch up keratin, its like a magic! I waited 5 days till I write the comment, now my hair looks shine and healthy! This looks exactly what he told me that after a touch up keratin! Ill only go to this salon from now on as long as Im in South Florida, I dare not to try other salons risking my hair.

Seriously the BEST place in all of Miami. I have grown up here in South Florida and after going to salon after salon trying to find people who actually know what they are doing with my type of hair (fine), I will never go to anyone ever again. The entire staff is not only knowledgable (they have a TON of experience) and up to date on all hair trends but they are extremely warm, welcoming, and always want the best for your hair. Time and time again, I NEVER feel pressured to purchase any of their products and they have treated me like a close friend since day one.

The perfect spot for a keratin treatment. They have a new hairdresser and she is amazing at performing the treatment. It takes skill and experience to do it so light, eliminate the frizz without weighing the hair down. Great location, easy parking (lot) and friendly staff. Place is a little tired but the staffs smiles and attitude make up for it. If looking for a good, reasonably pri ed keratin treatment, give them a try!

Last week I had my first rëzocut, color and partial highlight done by William Laurel. I found him on IG @hairbycuba, checked out his work and messaged with him a few times regarding what I wanted. He was there to reply nicely everytime!I finally made my appointment and I am writing here to say that it was an AWESOME afternoon!He greeted me as if we knew each other already, went over what I wanted, he assessed the health of my hair, confirmed that it could be done and got to work.A couple of hours later, I had the Most Beautiful set of curls I could have ever imagined!! The color was on point, the highlight were radiant, the cut was more perfect than I had imagined! He styled me with patience and expertise, using top of the line products and I left the Salon feeling like a Super Model!AND he is still there, nicely replying to my messages regarding at home care (FYI he is bilingual)What more can I ask for?Oh and the Salon is beautiful, clean and with friendly staff, plus easy parking by CocoWalk.

As the Mother of the bride my priority was safety first and Hair by Hisham far surpassed my expectations down to the covering of all of our shoes! The talented staff each created an elegant style for all of my daughters and myself! Each hair design captured our individual style and comfort zone. While my daughters are stunningly beautiful, the bride looking like a young Audrey Hepburn -Classic ,Beautiful, Elegance during her wedding at Fairchild Botanical Garden!(dating myself, yikes) I as the Mother of 5 (as all middle-age moms know how old hair is LOL)was blown away after my highlights, blow-dry and eyelashes were completed!! I finally found the answer to my mixed chicks-type hair! After years of struggling with my ethnic curls I am happy to share that Carlos Collazo, at Hair by Hisham saved me! Turns out, a great haircut (done by a true professional that understands how different multi-racial curls can be from person to person) focusing on precise shaping of my curls, and now I LOVE my hair! It looks better than it ever did and I spend less time on it and I am not all tangled up in hairsprays and gels to keep it looking great, so it feels soft every day. I asked the Lifestyle Editor at Brickell Magazine and Key Biscayne Magazines in Miami (where I work) where I go for my type of hair and they knew immediately...Go see Carlos at Hair by Hisham.Oh, and the color... Two words: Vitamin J. Vitamin Jamal, I call him. Why? Because I can go months without him, my hair looks terrible, I lose all luster, and I get sluggish . But one visit to Jamal, and I am myself again. I had someone add some toner and do my roots at home because I was too busy to make an appointment. What a mistake I made. My hair was damaged and I hated the color. I wrote to Jamal and told him what happened. He forgave me for doing at home color, and immediately offered his gracious help. He booked me for a Sunday night, his last appointment. He squeezed me in because he is an amazing person and he care about his clients. I was so relieved and thankful. But I qas even more thankful after he fixed my hair. With the skill and expertise of a scientist, he whipped up a batch of color and highlights, and did my hair with some passion and perfection. When he blowdried it, I saw the gold and the caramel tones and it was blended perfectly. It was heaven. He made my hair look like heaven in less than an hour and he did it with precision. He fixed a bad color job, but he mostly fixed my week, my day, my confidence. He is unlike anyone else in Miami. He is magical.

Ill admit I was a little apprehensive about going to a salon. Id had the same barber for years and he was the only one I trusted with my hair and beard. But months after he moved out of town my hair and beard had grown to caveman proportions. I finally caved after my sisters continuous prodding and I wasnt dissapointed. I showed them some old pictures and a couple of similar cuts I found on Google. They took the time to nail the look I wanted, same with my beard. Most places wouldve glanced at the picture and rushed me through a quick cut and beard trim. Hisham took the time to get it right the first time. They even washed my hair and shaved my neck to make sure I was ready to go straight from the salon. Now theyre the only place I trust with my hair and beard.

I had to pay twice for my haircut. I went there last week, thursday or friday, and asked for the usual: #2 clipper all over. Hector insisted that he would do #2 on sides and back and would instead sculpt the top with scissors. If I didnt like the result, he said, I could come back and hed fix it. All weekend people were asking me Whats wrong with your hair? I said Bad haircut. Today I went back, and Hector wasnt there. Jesus was appointed to fix it. He did a good job, #2 all over. He also re-did the back and sides and whatnot. I asked if I owed anything and I was asked for $35, in addition to $40 last week, plus 2x tips of 10, this is a $95 haircut:#2 all over!1 month later.After I posted the above, Alan, the manager started leaving messages nfor me to please return to the store, and he would take care of the problem. Today I did. I got a free haircut. Looks fantastic.Everybody makes mistakes; but not everybody knows how to fix them. This store does; and they go out of their way to please the customer. I plan to go back there for another 20 years! Thanks guys!

Dariel just gave me the best haircut Ive had in YEARS! I came in with a big shaggy mane and he managed it down to a precise and well-defined military undercut. What a great find. Will definitely be back for all my future haircuts!
