    Kaylee is absolutely amazing! During our initial consultation, she took the time to understand my inspiration and hair goals, offering several options to achieve them. It was so refreshing to feel truly heard by a stylist. I had reached a point where I thought my hair color was as good as it could get, and I just had to accept it. But thank goodness for Kaylee! She delivered exactly what I had been hoping for, and I’m beyond grateful for her skill and care!

    Ladies, if you need anything done to your hair call Ashley Sullivan!! Not once in 3 years has Ashley done anything to my hair that I haven’t LOVED! She helps me get the styles that I’m looking for, while also tweaking them to compliment my face shape & hair type. She’s also the sweetest! If I could give her 10 stars I would!!

    I had the pleasure of meeting Kaylee and getting a cut & blowout! She did an absolutely phenomenal job and gave me great advice about styling my hair and what best suited my face as well as my lifestyle! She is so knowledgeable and personable! I absolutely recommend booking your next appointment with Kaylee! The salon itself is also gorgeous, full of smiling faces, and they serve coffee from 1748 bakehouse! (Definitely recommend stopping there after for a bite as well!)

    Shes always so amazing and wonderful! Both my children have been curly hair and I am very picky about their hair and she always makes them look fantastic. Very cautious about what I want for them and what they like. Highly recommend!

    Ashley is an outstanding hair stylist. She communicates clearly during consultation and creates beautiful, dimensional color blends. Her talents as a colorist and stylist routinely produce gorgeous manes. Her work is complimented in the lovely Kindred salon with comfy chairs and charming decor.

    I absolutely love coming to Kindred Salon to see Kelly! I met Kelly while searching for hair stylists for my wedding 3 years ago. Her silly personality and loving nature made me feel welcome right away. No matter how much time has passed between my appointments, (more time than there should be…my fault), Kelly greets me with love and laughter as well as her extensive knowledge base. I am biracial, and have been blessed with thick, textured hair. Kelly has helped me understand how to care for and maintain my hair when it is in its curly state as well as providing me with products to help me achieve more sleek styles when I want them. I am so grateful for Kelly and hope that her books always remain full of new clients who will love her as much as I do!

    Kelly of Inner Glow (located inside Kindred Salon) was awesome! I have curly hair that can be challenging to care for and style. Kelly was patient and thorough in explaining her haircut approach (a dry cut vs. a wet cut!) and styling techniques. She thoughtfully answered all of my questions about products and styling and was just a pleasure to talk to during my salon visit. Thank you for the great service and recommendations!

    I have been seeing Kaylee for almost 10 years now! She always knows just what I want, and can give recommendations if I need some ideas, or want to try something new. I always leave extremely happy with my hair. She is the best at cuts and color, and her blowouts are always fabulous. I always receive so many compliments on my hair. Im so grateful to have her! 10 stars!!

    I have been going to Kaylee for close to 10 years now for my hair cut or Air Cut as I call it because I dont trust just anyone to cut my hair which is 28 inches long now so she knows just how to shape it and not cut it short. She offers great suggestions and I have been most happy with her services as she is quite the professional and she loves loves loves what she does :) I highly recommend Kaylee!

    I’ve been going to Kindred for over a year and Kaylee cuts my hair. Every visit is such a pleasure. The salon has a great atmosphere and everyone I have encountered (stylists and clients) are a joy. The salon has such a sense of community and every haircut feels like catching up with a friend. I feel Kaylee nails my haircut every time. She takes the time to understand what I want. I ALWAYS get compliments on my hair after a haircut.

    Everyone knows how hard it is to find a salon and stylist that they love. After my original stylist moved out of state, I was referred to Kaylee and haven’t looked back since! Something I love most about my appointments is that they feel collaborative and effortless. Kaylee really takes the time to hear me, asks questions to understand my hair, then walks me through her thoughts and makes suggestions. I never feel like I’m being pushed into a style I don’t want and have never left feeling like I didn’t look like myself. I also never feel like I’m asking dumb questions or causing a problem by wanting to switch up my typical appointment! As an added bonus, the salon is such a warm and welcoming space, the vibes are always on point. I love that I can actually work during my appointment or just chat! All of that said I would HIGHLY recommend checking out Kindred, you won’t regret it!!

    Amazing salon! Trendy interior with a cozy relaxing environment.     The cutest salon with the best hairdressers and products! Kaylee is always knowledgeable on the latest trends with priority on keeping my hair healthy. Kaylee never pushes products or extras, but the salon does offer a great variety of products and the absolute cutest accessories.

    Ive been going here for about 2 years and this is by far my favorite experience. I get my hair done about twice a year and they know exactly how to care for my hair for long stretches between cuts and lived in highlights. Its right next to the best bakery in town and perfectly located in the heart of Springfield. 100% recommend for anyone in the Urban Core or just outside! I travel to come by taken care of by Kaylee who saved my hair from a bad color years ago!

    Beautiful and comfortable salon! Lauren saved the blonde in my hair after a root touch up went wrong and I’ve been going to her ever since. She’s so kind and knowledgeable and I always look forward to my appointments with her. They also have the absolute best shampoo bowls here - no neck pain while getting my hair washed, toned, and rinsed. I always recommend this place to my family and friends :)

    Lauren saved my botched dye job (that was done by another professional!!). She then helped me find a low maintenance plan to blend my gray and keep me feeling good.     I finally was able to visit Kindred, and I’m so glad I did! I had an awesome experience — super easy booking and text reminders before the appointment. I booked only a bang trim, and Kaylee was super friendly and so helpful with restyling my bangs. She took the time to look at my cut overall and offer advice on how to adjust the style beyond just my bangs. Her salon is so cute too! Can’t wait to go back for my next haircut!

    I always see Lauren here!!She’s a star! It’s always hard to find someone who is confident is doing reds & coppers! She nails it every time. Haircuts too! So kind, welcoming, and detailed. It’s always nice to be remembered by your stylist no matter how long of a break you may take getting your hair done.Vibes are so chill in the salon and the chairs are suuuuper comfy. 🫶🏻 Kindered is also located in a super cute part of town.
