Skylar at the Oakleaf Hair Cuttery location in Jacksonville is my go-to hairdresser. She is a lot of fun and extremely talented and I always feel and look fantastic when I leave her chair. I highly recommend her. If she ever leaves the Hair Cuttery I will follow her wherever she goes because she is that good!

Cynthia is amazing! Every time I come into the salon she is always very welcoming and kind. When I sit in her chair she knows exactly what I am imagining and the finished product is always over satisfied!! From someone who really did not care to get her hair done, nor took care of her hair, my hairstylist has changed my mind and always makes me leaving feeling absolutely gorgeous and happy!!

Zoe is the BEST!!! I went in to cut quite a few inches off my hair into a longer bob and Zoe delivered. I absolutely adore my hair. A couple days later, she helped me achieve a beautiful dimensional and melted auburn color that is so stunning. I’m so glad I found her and she was the stylist I got to cut my hair. She’s great at what she does, and is kind and very detailed in her consultations to make sure you get what you want. I already made my next appointment and I’m so glad I found my new go-to stylist.

Years ago my husband and his cousin started going to this location and seeing Toby for their hair cuts, they introduced me and I loved her and her work!! I have been going ever since. I tell anyone who wants their hair done to go here for *anything* she is very versatile and actually cares about what you want and does her very best work every time- if she doesn’t know how to do it she will recommend someone else wonderful there too for whatever you need. Before I started coming here I never stayed with the same stylist because I never liked the salon or the workers- now I will literally never see anyone else but Toby or one of the other stylists at Oakleaf Hair Cuttery. I love the team, I love my hair!

I went to 10 different places in one year looking for the hair dresser for me, I was just about to give up when I found Mireille! She is just fantastic and I couldnt be happier. I swear she gives me the best haircut Ive ever had in 10 minutes! Shes so good at her job she could do it blindfolded! I couldnt recommend her more for men or women. Shes been cutting my hair for almost two years and she will be who I go to, no matter wheres shes at, as long as shell have me!

But Emily was extremely kind, professional, and totally easy to work with! She gave great advice and I trusted her with my hair. The pricing was also reasonable; definitely par with what I expected. Went here at almost 7 when they close at 8. They were able to sneak my son and husband in for cuts. Quick and very good cuts. Nice people, clean. One lady was very sweet and explained some products to me. Would go back, its just a bit far from my house.Updated: My husband has come back at least once a month to see Mireille. Its a bit of a drive but totally worth it. She is absolutely amazing, always does a perfect job. She is so sweet and also enjoys cutting my sons hair on occasion. (If just my hubby goes she will ask him to bring our son next time) She is quick and responsive to make appointments. We just adore her. Thanks for being awesome. My husband is very picky about his hair.

Meredith is the best hair stylist! She takes knows how to conduct a client’s consultation. Discuss fashion trends and options according to your needs and hair. I have been a client since 2009 and I wouldn’t go anywhere else ! Meredith is a highly trained professional and has incredible skills to manage my “Latino” hair color though the different hair styles I have wear through the years. She is without a doubt the best!

My friend and neighbor told me that Jenny does a great cut on curly hair and that’s why I went to her and she is amazing and takes the time to listen to what I said. I’m new to the area and it’s hard to find a good hairstylist. I found mine at Hair Cuttery and her name is Jenny. When you call to make an appointment with her tell her Wanda sent you and you won’t regret it.

Since I am 77 now & retired, I am less concerned about fancy hair, clothes, makeup, etc. Just want simple, easy, healthy everything. So, my hair is white, but not oily. Jenn was my hairdresser yesterday. She did a simple trim with a few long layers. She used tea tree shampoo with no conditioner, as I requested. And a wispy trim of my bangs. Did not take long, but is exactly what I wanted. Plus an added bonus, she has short fingernails! Long nails gross me out. I am becoming germophobic in my old age. LolThank you, Jenn. I had the best experience at this location with Margie! She is such a sweet person and is very talented. I made an appt last minute for a balayage with a hair cut and boy she did not disappoint! I left out of there looking gorgeous and feeling like a million bucks! I also loved that everyone there is very nice and they all help each other, give each other feedback etc. This place is a hidden gem. I will be back!

Had a great experience today. Made an appointment, in advance, on the easy to use website. Was greeted as soon as we came in. No wait. Stylist, Diane, took me quickly. She did exactly as I asked. Hair was shiny and gorgeous, after cut and blow out!Used to go to another HC location but after bad service will not be back. This location is a few miles farther but worth it. Cleaner. Nicer. Stylists. Will come again

I have thick naturally curly hair and told her i like it dry cut while its straight. She had no issues with that and did an awesome job. May 26, 2022 was my daughters graduation day, so of course I take her to the best Hair Cuttery on the Westside...Oakleaf!! My daughter is autistic so she was a bit anxious about her hair being cut but her stylist explained & showed her that she wasnt cutting alot off & then when she realized her stylist was braiding her hair.....oh she totally relaxed then & was extremely happy about her braids!!! I wish her name had been printed on my receipt so I could properly give her the credit shes due but unfortunately her name isnt on the receipt but I will call tomorrow and try and get her name and the other young lady that cut my oldest daughters hair....she listened too my daughter on what she wanted & my older daughter is also extremely satisfied with her cut!!The gals here are absolutely amazing at what they do and you feel like youre apart of their lil family when youre with them!! Absolutely love coming to this place, the staff is nice and always has smiles on their faces and the facility is super clean. I come here regularly to get my haircut from toby and she is absolutely amazing at what she does, she is quick and precise on my hairstyle and I always leave feeling confident about my hair and the work shes done. Kind of the Cheers of chain salons in my experience - everyone is so kind, funny, and pleasant. They all seem to dig their job. Melissa is great and is always so patient with my fickle nature. LaDonna never fails to ask about my children - even though theyve never met. Finding a good barber/stylist is like finding a good mechanic… Rare and invaluable. As long is my hair stays in my head, Ill continue to get it cut here!

I have to say my experience was wonderful but when I got home and really looked at the back of my hair towards the side I could see my hair was neven also I also feel like she should have to cut the top just a little to cut maybe some of the Dead ends and I did say that but still all in all my experience was awesome.

Males, get your hair cut by Wayne. You wont be sorry. I am one of the last people who would praise a franchise barbershop but Wayne ended fixing up a giant pile of mess that was on my head from one of the shops next door. Talks he talks to you through the steps hes going to take with your hair. And can actually fade a skin fade (instead of leaving it look layered) like a champ which is hard to find.

My 5 star review is for the Haircutter named called TJ. After a terrible experience at Cut N Up Barbershop, TJ was able to salve the hack job left they called a hair cut. He was available exactly as my appointment, so I didnt have to wait. Not only was he fast, but he was skillful and friendly.My only question is: Why is TJ at Hair Cuttery, and not a master barber cutting at a first seat?
