Jackie @ Mane Retreat has been making my hair gorgeous and keeping it healthy for over 20 years! Pictured is my current and favorite look of all the different styles and colors. These are sew in Aqua Hair Extensions that look and feel like my own hair. She works her magic and makes me feel amazing. Every single time!! The salon was recently redecorated and has a fresh new look with cool gifts and loads of quality hair care to purchase. The staff is super sweet and they always have great energy. I highly recommend booking an appointment. What are you waiting for? You won’t regret it!

Love this place! I have been to Nina a couple times now and I already booked out through winter. Nina is amazing with her skills She takes the time to listen and then gives her opinion. I trusted her wholeheartedly and Nina didn’t disappoint. She is friendly, kind and professional. The shop is cute with a boutique for shopping while you wait and Jackie and other girls are friendly and always happy. I always hear laughter which is a great change from other salons I have been to where is almost silent. Highly recommend the shop and Nina. Great convenient location.

Nina was so good. I was nervous, my hair was down to my butt and I wanted it chopped off. I also wanted a balayage from espresso brown virgin hair to blonde bayalage. She did a beautiful job blending. It’s taken me a year to find someone and I have kind of high standards coming from Nj/Ny.. my hair feels so healthy! She’s my new go to!

LOVE coming here!! I drive from Orange Park to have Jackie do my hair and love every time! Today I brought my Mother in Law and Nina did an amazing cut on her after pampering her with a great shampoo. I also found the Boutique a special surprise with all the various jewelry, clothing, purses and other products to shop for! Highly recommend!!

I love this salon. Jackie has been doing my hair for years. She now owns this location. Its comfortable, elegant and professional all at the same time. You can also come by to shop a little. I’ve been seeing Ashley for my highlights and cut for over a decade. I have moved many times over the years and right now I make the drive from St. Johns to see her. Ashley takes her time and works hard to achieve the best, healthiest results. I cannot speak highly enough of Ashley. I receive compliments on my highlights all of the time!Salon 5 has a beautiful, welcoming atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. You will not find the stereotypical salon drama here!

Salon 5 is the hidden gem of Jacksonville! I have been going to S5 and Ashley for around 5 years now and my hair has never been longer, healthier, or happier. It has been a journey but Ashley always left me leaving the salon with a smile on my face and a confidence in my step - and even a plant to propagate! All the girls at S5 are friendly and engaging, and the salon is super cute and always impeccably clean. The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially compared to some other salons in the same area I first tried out before finding Salon 5! If you’re a blonde, looking for a new forever salon, or just someone whose hair is in need of some TLC - Salon 5 is your place! Seriously, I never leave reviews but these girls deserve it 💕🫶🏻

Ive gone to see Melinda for close to 6 or 7 years before she settled at Salon 5 a few years ago. I live at the beach so the location is easy for me to stop at on my way home from work. Shes always done a fabulous job on my hair, whether its a smoothing treatment, highlights, gloss, cut, you name it Ive probably had it done during the years and Im always happy with the results. I recommend this place to all my friends and will continue to do so

Melinda and Ashley are the best! If you want fabulous, fun hair that perfectly suits you, dont go anywhere else. Ive been going here for over a year now, and let me tell you, my hair will never be the same. Melinda literally brought my hair back from the dead, and helps me change it to whatever whim I have. These ladies are in style and on top of their game, with professional Redken training. They are always flexible with the appointment times you need, and will always do the best by their clients. Dont look anywhere else, I can guarantee you will find your new favorite stylist here!

I’ve had an aweful day today and just the overall vibe was what I needed. I walked out a new person. I love my hair
