The entire experience exceed my expectations! I was greeted warmly and promptly at the front desk. Erika did my hair and I was byond impressed. She took the time to figure out what I wanted and executed the look better than I could imagine! She was very professional and also made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She kept me informed every step of the way and absolutely kept the health of my hair in mind. Products are amazing. The salon is beautiful and ample parking out back which is so important by the beach. I would recommend the salon to anyone who wants to feel beautiful and ask for Erika!! She is my new favorite stylist!

Im very new to the south florida area and it’s always tough for me to find a stylist who actually understands my needs for my hair and exactly what I want. Words can barely do justice for my experience I had with Desiree. The moment I stepped in, I was welcomed with warmth and hospitality, the consultation was quick and efficient, she knew exactly what I wanted!! This is the best haircut I’ve had in years. Everyone at this salon was very kind, from the front desk woman who checked me in and took my photos to Erika who did a beautiful job on my hair. I wasn’t happy with how my hair was looking when I went in but Erika gave me exactly what I was looking for and gave me a plan for the future as well. Erika is very professional and easy to talk to, as well as an amazing colorist/stylist. The entire process was enjoyable (I don’t love sitting in the chair getting my hair done for long periods) and I look forward to see her again.

I had a wonderful experience at Amanda Major Studio. The salon is elegant and just so beautiful. I love that they use more natural products without as many harsh chemicals and smells. I used to get headaches from getting my hair done at other salons but not this time. I came in for highlights and a cut and Annette took great care of me. She is so sweet I really enjoyed chatting with her. She took her time with my consult to make sure she understood what I was looking for. My results are perfect, exactly what I wanted!

Alex is the absolute best! I was so excited when I learned she moved to the area after previously seeing her in NYC. After trying three other salons and stylists in the past year, I can confidently say Alex is the best of the best. Shes a master stylist, incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, and so incredibly kind. Alex makes you feel seen, heard, and comfortable - I always leave her chair looking and feeling my best. Her exceptional talent, combined with her warmth and kindness, makes her the ultimate hair stylist. I cant recommend her enough - shes a true gem! Perfect weather/girls day when it comes to being a boy mom. Amanda Major The Studio is located in a spot making you feel comfortable with exploring Delray after being pampered. It’s was my first time in the salon and with a new stylist… So worth it! Loved the experience/atmosphere every stylist was individually focused on their client. I have been going to Amanda Major the Studio for several years and have always had an excellent experience. Amanda has transformed the health of my hair through her knowledge as well as her recommendation of excellent products.Last week, I received a head spa/scalp detox treatment, which wound up being one of the most relaxing spa-like experiences I have ever had. First, Amanda uses a microscope camera to look at the health of your scalp and check for any areas of concern (clogged follicles, etc). Then, your head is massaged with various (wonderful smelling) products to treat your scalp. I felt so relaxed the entire time, and afterwards, my head felt super clean and refreshed. I was even able to go a bit longer between washes.I am planning on buying some of these treatments as gifts for friends and family - it is like a facial for your scalp! 100% recommend!

They really took the time to learn about my goals and explained that the color I was looking to achieve would take time. I was first seen by Danielle who in the first visit did an amazing job on my hair. I then found out that Danielle had gone onto full-time Mommy duty, and was transferred to Joanna. Joanna picked up right where Danielle left off and today, Ive achieved my goal color! Joanna has even scheduled my upcoming appointments to ensure that my hair color looks the absolute freshest on my wedding day. Today was my first time visiting Amanda Major The Studio and I must say I walked out a different person. Amanda took a look at my hair and seen my problem areas. Since my hair is naturally dark and picks up so many brassy tones she helped me come up with a plan that helped balance the color and eliminate the brassy tones. She gave me a great trim and Rene finished the look off with a full on blow out. When I left the salon I felt like a new woman! I was treated so well and felt so comfortable I found myself talking the entire time and before I knew it we were done! The service felt so fast but not rushed at all. The scalp massage during the wash was so relaxing. If you’re looking for a new salon that gives you exactly what you ask for, I’d highly recommend giving Amanda Major The Salon a call. You won’t be disappointed.

I was a bit nervous because I’ve been going to the same hair stylist for 7 years. Amanda’s dedication to her craft and care for her clients is only matched by her extraordinary talent. Amanda is a Rockstar. She has transformed my hair from a frizzy broken mess to a gorgeous thick shiny mane of beautiful hair. I get more compliments on my hair since I began seeing Amanda than ever before in my life. Amanda specializes in healthy hair. She has refused to do any service on my hair that she felt would damage my hair. She is the first hair artist I have been too that is not in it for the money , but rather because she really loves what she does and truly wants to help women have their best hair. Amanda had a very busy schedule and she cannot always accommodate everyone in her book . Amanda does however have Alexis, Sophie, Danielle and of course Makena all of whom are amazing in their own right. I was saddened to read a mean spirited and patently false review of this studio on here . I can tell you first hand the person who wrote that review clearly has her salons confused. Amanda has the right to decide if she feels a client is a good fit for her salon. She and her staff are highly trained professionals. Just as every professional they have earned the right to set the prices for their services and do not have to bargain or reduce their fees simply because someone wants them too. Amanda runs an excellent operation with a caring and talented staff and she charges fairly for her work. I will never trust my hair to anyone else. I cannot tell you enough how much I recommend Sophie! It’s taken me forever to find someone who can manage my thick curly hair and I have been a client of hers for the past few years. I’ve had salon horror stories so I’m always very hesitant when going to a salon. She listens to all of my concerns and tells me exactly what we are going to do so I’m always comfortable with the process. I’ve been blonde my entire life. Prior to coming to Amanda, my stylist was over processing my hair that was so blonde it was white. While I loved the color, it damaged my hair too much. My prior stylist should’ve educated me on how much it was damaging my hair and provide another shade solution, instead of continuing to do it. Amanda took me on as a color and extension client. Since going to Amanda, my hair is the healthiest it’s ever been, and has grown out quite a bit. Before Amanda, my hair wouldn’t grow past a certain length because it was being over processed. Amanda took the time to educate me on what products to use to get healthy hair, keep it healthy and what going so light blonde was doing to my hair. She’s extremely knowledgeable, and is always continuing to educate herself and clients. If you want a stylist, who is damn good, knowledgeable, and is a great person on top of that go to Amanda!

I went about two weeks ago to get my hair done with Amanda Major, I can honestly say I’ve never been happier. Even though I was not able to achieve my goal yet, Amanda explained that in a couple of months I’ll be where I want to be and she was able to bring me really close while keeping my hair healthy. Ana was very sweet in accommodating me with my crazy work schedule. She came out and guided me when I got lost even though they were so busy. The girl kept everything clean and sanitized which helped calm my anxiety with all goin on. I think I finally found my permanent hairdresser 😍😍 I can’t wait to go back in 4 weeks for my toner!

As a professional makeup artist I’ve known Amanda Major for over 15 years and have worked with her many times on photo shoots and tv shows. In this time I’ve watched her grow her business from 2 small private salons in South Florida and Indiana to a full service, high end extension and color correction Mecca. Not only does Amanda use the best luxury extensions and hair products but she has invested in years of education and hands on training and travels to Los Angeles and NYC frequently to train with the best top tier celebrity stylists. This is what keeps myself and other top models coming back to Amanda for our hair services. 4 years ago my hair was an over processed blonde cotton-candy mess- I was chair hopping (bad bad bad I admit it!) at the time due to my busy work schedule and even though I worked on set with Amanda frequently I never had the time to get up to her salon. When I finally scored an appointment my hair was still a hot mess. With Amanda’s honest, no none sense guidance she refused to highlight my hair and potentially damage it more. Instead she offered her professional guidance and a list of reasonably priced products that I ordered on the spot to jump start my at home regimen to get my hair healthy for a future appointment where we would color correct and highlight. By the time I saw her again my hair was a world apart from the previous appointment just from following her at home care. As I’ve learned in my business instant gratification is easy but patience is key and is what pays off most in hair and skincare. If you want a quick-fix and someone to take your hard earned cash DO NOT go to Amanda. There are plenty of salons / stylists in South Florida that can do that for you, trust me. If you want a healthy, sustainable and long-term relationship with your hair and hairstylist and real results and yes swoon-worthy red carpet hair; well then this is your girl! And yes that means she will be booked solid for awhile....I mean did you really think someone of her caliber is waiting by the phone at this point in her career? Heck no!

I have visited many upscale salons from Palm Beach to Boca Raton in the last 35 years. This salon and Alexis (my personal stylist) are by far the best in the county. Both my hair and my daughters where in terrible condition when we went for the first time. Alexis gave us both less expensive treatments than what we came in wanting so that our end goal could be achieved. Alexis has compassion, talent, and is honest; all of which are hard to find in this area. Both she and the salon represent ethics and they take their profession seriously through educating themselves and their client. Try the studio - you will be beyond satisfied ... trying to find a 6th star!!
